Spiritual Direction
Christian spiritual direction is a sacred, intentional relationship in which a trained spiritual director accompanies someone as they slow down, listen, and become more attentive to God’s presence and activity in their everyday life. It is rooted in prayer, Scripture, and the belief that the Holy Spirit is already at work, gently shaping a person’s heart and guiding their steps. Spiritual direction is not therapy, counseling, or life coaching; it does not diagnose, fix problems, or offer quick advice. Instead, it provides a safe, unhurried space to explore questions of faith, identity, discernment, and calling, while helping a person notice how God is speaking and inviting them to deeper trust.
People who may benefit from meeting with a spiritual director include those longing for a richer prayer life, those navigating seasons of transition or decision-making, those feeling stuck or dry in their walk with Christ, and those simply desiring regular companionship on the journey of spiritual formation. Whether a new believer or a long-time follower of Jesus, anyone seeking a more intentional, grace-filled awareness of God’s presence can find spiritual direction deeply meaningful.
I am currently serving as Senior Pastor at Dripping Springs Presbyterian church for the last 10 years, a student member of the Christ-Centered Spiritual Directors Association, and actively enrolled with Truett Seminary at Baylor University in the Certified Spiritual Direction program.
Let's Talk About It.
