Christian spiritual direction is a prayerful, intentional relationship in which a trained spiritual director helps another person pay closer attention to God’s presence, guidance, and work in their life. It is not therapy, life coaching, or problem-solving, and it does not replace pastoral care; rather, it creates space to listen deeply to the Holy Spirit and to discern God’s invitations. Spiritual direction is for anyone—whether new to faith or seasoned in discipleship—who desires a deeper, more attentive walk with Christ, is seeking clarity in their spiritual journey, or simply wants companionship in learning to notice and respond to God’s leading.

One thing I am always trying to do in my own faith journey is to simply follow Jesus closer each day.

That means I don't have to be perfect, I just need to put my best foot forward and do a little bit better than the day before. I have learned over the years that I have the most success when I stay close to God's word and learn from other followers of Jesus.

On the Follow Jesus Closer podcast I read the bible weekly, give real life application, and try to encourage other followers of Jesus. I also do interviews with other Christ followers to see how God has worked in their lives and learn from their testimonies.
